Description

The E-Swift Pro is the answer to the one complaint people have about cheap electric SUP pumps: they only work next to a car. This one carries its own battery, so the pump goes where the board goes.

It is the newer and more expensive of Bluefin’s two electric pumps, and the extra buys three things: cordless operation, a deflate function and a second power route through the 12V socket when the charge runs out.

Cordless Range

The point of this pump is the walk. A canal towpath, a lakeside footpath, a beach at the bottom of a set of steps: all of those rule out a 12V pump and none of them rule out this one. You inflate where you launch, not where you park.

Because it still accepts the 12V car cable, a flat battery is an inconvenience rather than a lost session. That dual path is the sensible design decision here, and it is the reason to pay the difference over the Lite.

Pressure and Deflation

The 20PSI ceiling matches the Lite, which puts it comfortably above the 15 to 18PSI most modern boards ask for. Nothing about the cordless design costs you pressure.

Deflation is the feature people underrate. Rolling a board tight enough to fit its bag is the other tiring job of the day, and pulling the last air out mechanically makes the pack down quicker and the roll neater, which in turn is easier on the seams over a season.

What Else It Inflates

Six valve fittings come in the box, so the same unit handles air beds, yoga balls, dinghies and the usual camping inflatables. With no cable tying it to a vehicle, it is a more genuinely portable inflator than the 12V class.

That widens the case for owning it: it earns its place on a camping trip on its own merits, not only on days when a board comes along.

Track Record

This is the one caveat worth stating plainly. The Pro is a recent addition and the Bluefin store shows only a handful of customer reviews so far, currently a 5.0 average across six of them.

A perfect score from six people is not the same evidence as a 4.9 from several hundred. The specification is the stronger argument here, and buyers who want a long service record behind their purchase have it with the older Lite instead.

The E-Swift Pro solves a specific problem, and if you have that problem nothing cheaper will do.

It is the right choice when:

1. Your usual launch spot is a walk away from wherever you can park.
2. You paddle from a boat, a campsite or anywhere without a 12V socket.
3. You want the pump to pack the board down as well as blow it up.
4. You want one inflator that covers boards, air beds and camping kit without a car.
